#Treatyoself: Weekend shopping spree

Hi, I’m Ela, and I am a shopaholic.

I wish it wasn’t true, but honestly, I spend money as fast as I make it. I literally have zero pesos in my savings, and whatever disposable income I have goes straight to shit I want. Take note: want, not need.

With that guilt-laden disclaimer out of the way, let’s look at my recent purchases!

Uratex mattress and pillows

My old mattress was thin, sagging, and definitely not the epitome of comfort. As someone who can spend up to 21 hours asleep, this is not ideal.

Thus, I went to the Uratex showroom along Marcos Highway and bought a Permahard mattress, and three new pillows (one of which is specially designed to cradle the head ergonomically).

Adidas gym shoes

I started going to the gym this year, and so far, I freaking love it! I bought these because my 5-year-old Reebok sneakers are looking really ratty.

Plus, it’s additional motivation to hit the elliptical and work harder with my personal trainers!

Especially Escada Eau de Parfum

This is the most expensive fragrance I have ever purchased, at PHP5100.

What can I say—the scent really drew me in, and that’s saying something after sniffing half the bottles in the perfume department at Rustan’s.

This sparkling fragrance combines the classic allure of rose petals with a crisp tone of pear, while aromatic ambrette seeds add a musky note to this feminine scent.

I don’t like overly floral scents, but this has a combination of floral and musky notes. I’m all about that musky smell, so I’m happy with this! Also, it doesn’t hurt that the bottle looks so fancy.

I also have a bunch of new makeup, but that’s for a separate post, so stay tuned!

What do you like to buy when you’re in the mood to #treatyoself?

  1. Quality mattress is a good buy. One of the best investments for better sleep and slightly “improved” posture. Haha!

  2. I like buying food!! Hahaha. How’s the mattress so far? Sana bumili ka din ng medyas para partner sa new shoes. Dapat daw kasi makapal ang medyas pag sa gym para may extra support (pero di ko alam gaano katotoo yan kasi manipis lang din medyas ko pag nageexercise ako :P)
